NYC Remote Jobs Market Overview

According to the Partnership of New York City’s latest research, just 12% of Manhattan workers are in the office full-time while 6% are fully remote.

This means that 88% of NYC jobs and employers provide remote or hybrid work structures.

The proportion of hybrid or remote roles is high. However, it represents a fall from January 2023, when 91% of Manhattan workers could work remotely at least once a week and 10% were fully remote.

The graph below shows the results in full:

In turn, there are still plenty of opportunities for digital nomads in NYC. While some employers are returning to on-site structures, the majority remain flexible and continue to provide work from home positions.
